I created this recipe one night after work based on the foods I had on hand and was quite impressed with the result. It gave the feel and taste of a cream of broccoli soup, which is always a favorite.<\/div>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b><br \/>\n<\/b><\/span><\/p>\n<div><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><b>Cauliflower Soup with Broccoli and Spinach<\/b><\/span><\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"separator\"><a href=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/-_H5U58Uldl0\/UVRCuNIrKaI\/AAAAAAAABiE\/52_UIo5XDag\/s640\/blogger-image--1549884721.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh4.googleusercontent.com\/-_H5U58Uldl0\/UVRCuNIrKaI\/AAAAAAAABiE\/52_UIo5XDag\/s640\/blogger-image--1549884721.jpg\" alt=\"\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Nutrition<\/span>: 25 calories; 0.1 gram of fat; 3.8 grams of carbohydrates<\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><\/div>\n<div class=\"separator\"><i>Ingredients:\u00a0<\/i><\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>1 head of cauliflower<\/li>\n<li>3 cups broccoli (can be frozen)<\/li>\n<li>1 medium yellow onion<\/li>\n<li>6 cups water<\/li>\n<li>1 tablespoon minced garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 teaspoon oregano<\/li>\n<li>4 cups fresh spinach<\/li>\n<li>2 teaspoons Better-Than-Bullion<\/li>\n<li>salt and pepper to taste<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>1. Chop cauliflower. Add cauliflower, Better-Than-Bullion, oregano, garlic, onion, and salt and pepper to medium pot and boil for about 20 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>2. Puree all ingredients in pot with hand immersion blender.<\/p>\n<p>3. Chop broccoli and chiffonade spinach, then add to pot and cook over medium heat for 40-60 minutes.<\/p>\n<p>You could very easily substitute or add extra vegetables or even chicken to this soup. I contemplated adding chopped carrots initially, but decided to keep it a little more simple the first time.<\/p>\n<p>Hope you enjoy this spring soup!
